Grafton's Berryville facility encompasses an administrative building (pictured above), a residential facility, and classrooms. The residential treatment center serves youth ages 6 to 21 with mild to moderate developmental and psychiatric disorders or cognitive disabilities. The facility provides medically-necessary residential treatment services and is approved as a Virginia Medicaid provider. Our goal is to provide short-term intensive residential therapeutic treatment designed to help individuals build the self-management skills necessary to be successful in a community setting. The center is oriented around the needs of our clients. There are 75 private rooms clustered in groups around spacious living rooms with a kitchenette for each group. This arrangement encourages interaction in a collective setting as well as allowing for private space. In additional to the residential areas, the center features a cafeteria, classrooms, a 7,500-square-foot fully equipped gymnasium. The facility is fully handicapped accessible and has an electronic security system and 24-hour awake supervision to ensure necessary support.
