Supported Residential ServicesFor males and females over the age of 18, Grafton provides programs for individuals who require long-term supported residential services. The programs are designed to increase self-autonomy and build healthy interdependencies, utilizing community integration where appropriate.Grafton also provides recreational and leisure activities, as well as day support services. Individuals served in the Winchester program attend a center-based day support program. Individuals served in the Richmond facility receive day support services through various contracted providers. Group Homes for AdultsFor males and females ages 18 or older with autism or mental retardation that may also include a concurrent psychiatric condition and for people with challenging behaviors, Grafton offers group home living. Group home living is ideal for people who have disorders but are able to live with some amount of independence in a caring, supportive environment with immediate care available if necessary. Individuals live in homes located within the community, which provides opportunity to participate in community activities.Grafton group homes for adults require long-term living arrangements. The adults we serve qualify for the intermediate level of care programs funded by Medicaid’s Community-Based Waiver programs. Group homes are licensed by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services. |
