Every child enrolled at Grafton has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or a Comprehensive Individual Plan of Care (CIPOC). The student’s plans are designed by Grafton’s multi-disciplinary team in collaboration with the student, their family and local education agency and other relevant agency personnel.
All students’ annual goals are graphed on a weekly basis and tracked via a minimum growth achievement line. The student’s team is able to measure the “response to intervention” and provide timely changes. This close monitoring system ensures IEP goals and objectives are accomplished. If the student is “off-plan,” specific measures are taken, including consultation with funding agencies and families, as appropriate. Our goal is always to provide the necessary treatment in order to return the student to his or her home community or to a less-restrictive environment as rapidly as possible.
