Winchester, Virginia, August 14, 2015 —Ukeru Systems, a division of Grafton Integrated Health Network, has launched a new website, www.ukerusystems.com. Ukeru Systems provides training and consultation services to behavioral healthcare providers, schools, and other organizations that support individuals with emotional and behavioral challenges. Ukeru Systems award-winning care management tools and techniques include:

  • Ukeru®: A restraint-free crisis management technique for behavioral health caregivers and educators. Ukeru has helped behavioral health providers and schools reduce the use of restraint and seclusion, reduce cost and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Case Formulation: A custom service for behavioral health clients that includes a record review and interviews with parents/guardians, professionals and others, resulting in a findings report and a detailed treatment support plan.
  • Grafton Method: An innovative approach for organizational training, consultation and support. It enables organizations to embrace a new way of thinking about organizational culture and dynamics in order to provide the highest quality of services possible.
  • Trauma Informed Care (TIC): A training program which provides a care model for clients receiving services for intellectual, developmental, or psychiatric disabilities who have also been affected by trauma. TIC training provides background into causes/symptoms of trauma, its effects on the brain, and methods of providing a more trauma-sensitive background to help people feel safe.

“Our new website provides a means for others to learn more about our deep-rooted philosophy of treatment and support, and the services that we are now offering to others in the industry,” said Kim Sanders, President, Ukeru Systems. “Through Ukeru Systems, we are offering services and tools that can help a wide range of professionals provide better support to those with emotional and behavioral challenges.”
