Grafton Webinar: Navigating Autism Services for Adults
In the last two decades, diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder have increased exponentially. The enormous number of children now being diagnosed will grow into a large number of adults. In fact, there already is a significant population of adults with ASD. How do we support these individuals, when most of the services to do so end not long after they graduate from high school?
Recently, Grafton’s Chief Operating Officer, Scott Zeiter, moderated a discussion about what happens when children “age out” of state support systems providing critical services. The conversation offered guidance for parents, families, providers and communities about how to address this gap. Speakers included:
- Bethany Dietz, Grafton’s Director of Adult Services
- Rob Hurt, Advocate and Parent
