Community-Based Services
Grafton provides innovative solutions for clients that extend well beyond the four walls of our facilities. This includes:
An Early Intervention program that teaches, coaches, and mentors families of children up to age 3 who exhibit a developmental delay or mental and/or physical condition that gets in the way of their development.
The Adult Day Activities Program Team (ADAPT in Winchester; Integrations in Richmond) serve people with complex intellectual and developmental challenges who have aged out of the school system and do not qualify for work programs. Both programs provide a physical space, activities (arts and crafts, music therapy, and physical recreation), and opportunities for individuals to get involved in the community through social, recreational, volunteer, and skill development activities.
Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Dominion Center for Behavioral Health Services, Grafton provides outpatient mental health services, including behavioral, educational, and clinical assessments and consultations.
